Dave Liniger is one of the most influential people in real estate - and one of the greatest innovators. I would say that his video is quite accurate.

Here in Murphy, I doubt the market will be 50% REO (foreclosures) and shortsales. In most months, they only make up 10-20% of the entire marketplace. There would have to be a huge shift in the market to reach that high, and personally, I hope we don't. I certainly don't like to see people in that situation.

Moving forward here, I think we are going to continue to see more stability shine through and a continued higher volume of transactions. Sales were up 2011 over 2010, which is a great improvement.

When it comes to price, that was down. It depends on which side of the fence you're on as to whether you think that's good or not.

However, the silver lining and blessings in it all is that real estate is selling. No matter what hear-sayers repeat, it's selling. :)
