Murphy, NC - Things To Do In Our Town
In Murphy, NC, there are many things to do, but I'm going to admit that you will not find big-city excitement and all the other activities you may enjoy. In fact, that's one of the main reasons that many of us like it here so much. We love the peace and quiet, the lack of crowds, no traffic jams, and the scenic views at the twist and turn of every road. We're not looking for what the big cities offer, and you may be disappointed if you come here expecting any of that. However, all is not lost. If you'd like to live or visit an area where the air is clean, the people are friendly, the history and traditions run deep, and still want big-city excitement now and then, Murphy may be what you're looking for. After all, we're about two hours from anywhere, and that includes four cities and all they offer. It's an easy day trip to Atlanta, Georgia; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Knoxville, Tennessee; and Asheville, North Carolina. There are other, smaller towns and cities nearby, as well.
