Interviews with Interesting and Influential People in Murphy, NC
Over the upcoming months, we will be interviewing a number of interesting and influential people in Murphy, NC about a variety of topics. We look forward to talking to community leaders, business owners, non-profit volunteers, people who are doing interesting things, and others who share their views about living in Murphy, NC, now and in the past. We may even delve into trying to predict the future of our little town in the mountains. Rather than categorizing the interviews, they will be posted in reverse chronological order (kind of like a blog), so that the most recent interviews are listed at the top and then get progressively older as you look down the page. If it turns out that it makes sense to list them by category or individual, I may add a page that does so, but this one will always be ordered by date. Would you like to suggest someone to be interviewed?I invite your suggestions and will consider them carefully. Please use the form on our Contact Us page to submit your suggestions. In addition to stating whom you would like to see interviewed, it would be a big help if you tell me why you are suggesting that individual and what topics you think would be interesting, if we interview him or her. Interviews in 2012January 2012Dena Howard - Interview - 2012 In early January, 2012, I had the pleasure of sitting and talking with Dena Howard, owner and lead photographer of Images By Courtnie Photography. Our conversation included her observations about running a professional photography business, working with kids of all ages, some of her plans for the future, and her thoughts about the limited edition portraits she's doing this month in The Enchanted Forest.
