Murphy Gold News, Issue #005 -- June 16, 2011 -- Update and apology June 16, 2011 |
Good morning, First, I want to apologize for the old newsletter that was sent out this morning. It was unintentional. I pressed the wrong button while starting a new issue, and before I could stop it, it was already on its way to you. I sincerely apologize to you. I will do my best to see that this never happens, again. It's been awhile I sent the last newsletter in November 2009. It has been so long since I sent one that you may not even remember having subscribed to it. I intended to send a quick update this morning to let you know that I'll be sending the newsletter on a more frequent basis -- at least monthly and no more than twice a month -- to remind you that you'd subscribed and to give you the opportunity to unsubscribe if you are no longer interested. So, if you don't want to receive future issues, just click the link at the bottom of this newsletter to unsubscribe and that will remove you from our subscriber list. I'll be sorry to see you go, but I know that our interests change over time. Where have I been? I'm going to keep this short. In 2009, I started getting very sick. Shortly after the last newsletter was published, I got so sick that I had to move in with my daughter and son-in-law. In March, 2010, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. For over a year, we fought this terrible disease with several surgical procedures, months of chemotherapy, and lots of sleep. Fortunately, the last two CT scans have come back clean and I'm starting to get a lot stronger. I came close to closing all my websites and online business in April 2010, and now I'm happy I didn't. Moving Forward Now, I'm working with the business owners who are participating in Murphy Gold and we'll be bringing more businesses into the program in the coming months, with new special offers, and maybe some contests. I'll be posting much more information on Murphy Gold and Murphy Connections. If you choose to continue to be a subscriber, I will do my best to make it worth your while. Shorter newsletters I have a tendency to be verbose when I'm writing, as I'm sure you've noticed. I plan on sending much shorter newsletters that will contain links to news on the websites so you can click them to go read what interests you and ignore the rest. Thank you Thank you for subscribing and I will do my best to make it worth your while. All the best, John L. Dilbeck Thanks for joining me for this issue of Murphy Gold News!
